happy "birth" day L (aka elea drew)

kristina had her baby today!!! she was born at about 4:40pm. she weighs 8 lb 4 oz and is 19.5 inches long. L (elea) has a TON of thick black hair. the most hair i've ever seen on a baby. kristina did amazing. she didn't have one drop of pain killers...not even a tylenol. she only had to push through 4 contractions. her doc said that it was the best natural delivery he has ever done. anyway, L is so stinkin' cute!! jeff had a big fat grin on his face after she was born. the plan was nobody was "aloud" in the room while kristina was in labor, but somehow i convinced jeff and kristina to let me hang out in the room with them until it was time for her to start pushing. so when the doc came in and said it was time to push i went in the hall. by the time elea was born i had inched my way back into the room!!! it was awesome being there....plus, i got to keep the rest of the family informed so jeff could focus 100% on kristina. as soon as i can i'll post pics of the beautiful little baby!!!

Yeah! Congrats to Christina! Isn't it awesome having a sister have a baby. It took Mel five years to have Navey after I had had Tyler. I loved every minute of it. I will let the family know about the good news.

I am so excited for Kristina. I saw some pics that Uncle Kirk had sent in an email. Elea is so beautiful. I can't believe all that hair.

I think that is so cool that you were able to be in the room. My sister, Jenna was in the room with me on the last two births. It was neat.

I am so happy to hear Elea and Kristina are doing good.
